Calculate payroll periods
Remarks:
This calculator is only applicable for calculating the first contribution for employees who are paid on a monthly/semi-monthly basis (other than casual employees) between the age of
18
and
65
. It is not applicable to those employees: (i) who reach the age of
65
or cease employment during a payroll period that falls within the first contribution period, or (ii) whose employment is transferred between companies as a result of business ownership change or intra-group transfer.
For an existing employee who remains in the same employment and attains the age of 65, please enter the pro-rated amount of his relevant income earned before his 65th birthday.
This calculator may not take into account a gale warning day or black rainstorm warning day. The deadline for MPF scheme enrolment and the first contribution due date will be postponed to the immediate following working day if the date falls on a Saturday, a public holiday, a gale warning day or a black rainstorm warning day.
The figures displayed and calculation results are for reference only. The rate of contributions and the statutory minimum and maximum level of relevant income may be changed under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance and Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (General) Regulation from time to time. Please refer to the latest announcement of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority for updated regulatory requirements.
